35 Days Until Departure
Since I am not quite sure what the service on my cell phone will be like in Haiti, I have decided to create a blog. I hear that there is internet access while I am there, so here is to hoping this is true. My goal is to update on a daily basis to ensure you of my safety - but there will be a team blog as well (which I will include the web-address to once I am aware of it).
This blog is dedicated to my husband, my family and my friends who may worry about my wellbeing while I am gone. Mostly this blog is dedicated to this wonderful journey in my life that so many people have helped to make possible. I am honestly humbled and greatful for this chance that I have to discover more about the world that God has created.
I trust in the Lord that he will guide me and protect me while I do his work on this mission trip. Please keep my team, their families, and the whole nation of Haiti including the children I will be teaching and helping all in your prayers.
I love you - from Haiti (even if only my thoughts are there now).
